History

Esmeralda was bred by Narrawin Stud. She was rejected by her dam and raised from a bucket, but was sort of adopted by a dry mare and therefore had a fairly normal upbringing. She was started under saddle in early 2022. She has had one foal and is in foal again

Gaits & Movement

Well gaited, with very smooth corto.

Conformation Notes

Personality

Esmeralda is easy to handle and catches people in the paddock. She has lots of brio and is a fun horse to be around and to ride.

Genetics

Esmeralda is a mix of Columbian and Puerto Rican lines. She is a descendant of El Aguila de San Felipe on the dam’s side and on the sire’s side carries several crosses to Resorte Cuarto.
