History
Darien was bred by Winnfarms in New Zealand and imported in utero in late 2016. He is due to be started shortly.

Personality
Darien has a lot of brio. He likes to show off his stuff, but when he is brought in for any work/handling, he is happy enough to oblige.
Genetics
Darien’s sire is the beautiful UK bred black Paso Fino stallion Primero Mercurio (by Inginiero), who is now in NZ. Darien’s maternal grandsire is Santana del Cardo (now deceased), who was a successful show horse and sire in USA. He carried the blood of Resorte Cuarto and El Pastor. Darien is an exciting stallion prospect for the future. In addition to excellent bloodlines and great conformation, he offeres interesting colours as well. We are looking forward to seeing him mature.
